Your Privacy Choices
You stay in control of your data in Voti. Right from inside the app you can decide whether your visit transcript is used for AI note drafting, export your notes, and permanently delete your account and everything in it. This page shows you exactly where each control is. Need help? Email [email protected].
Decide how your data is used (AI note generation)
Voti drafts your note from the visit transcript. You choose whether that happens — and Voti asks your permission the first time before any transcript is sent.
To turn it on or off: open Voti → the Settings tab → Privacy → toggle “AI note summarization.”
- When it’s off — your visit transcript never leaves your device for AI drafting. Transcription still runs on-device and you keep your notes manually.
- When it’s on — only the transcript text and the note template you choose are sent to Voti’s secure backend (Convex) and an AI model on Amazon Web Services (AWS), both under signed Business Associate Agreements, to draft your note. The audio recording itself is never sent.
Delete your account and all your data
You can permanently delete everything from inside the app, in one place.
To delete: open Voti → the Settings tab → Account → “Delete Account” → confirm.
- This permanently removes your account and all of your synced notes and clinical data from Voti’s backend. It cannot be undone.
- Can’t sign in? Email [email protected] from the address on your account and we’ll delete your data for you.
Access, export, and correct your data
- Export — export your notes from inside the app at any time.
- Access or correct — to get a copy of, or fix, the personal information tied to your account, email [email protected].
What Voti never does
- We never sell your data.
- We never use your notes or transcripts to train AI models.
- Your visit audio always stays on your device.
